What did Jesus do for us?

Other religions are about what man must do to gain God’s approval. Christianity is about what God has done for man. Jesus’ death on the cross is the one event that makes it possible for us to become right with God. He paid for our sins ... He died for us.

Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.” John 10:11
                                                  
“I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins ... and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day.”  1 Corinthians 15:3-4

“He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness.”    1 Peter 2:24

Jesus paid the price for us. “You were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold ... but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.” 1 Peter 1:18-19.
                                              
What did Jesus do for us? He gave His life for us. He died on the cross to pay for our sins.
